Week 5: I didn't dress myself
This week I enlisted help and had my boyfriend dress me. He picked out some black skinny jeans, my new riding boots (these guys deserve a post of their own at some point), a white cotton button-down, and this fuzzy vest thing that was a Christmas present two years ago that I've worn maybe five times since then. Oh, and a choker, because the 90s are back whether we're ready or not. I made my hair way too big on top with a new teasing comb, and here we are. This look got more compliment than I anticipated, so thanks, boyfriend! I might have you dress me more often. It's not a look I think I would have dared without encouragement and/or the pressure of my Make an Effort Mondays, but here we are. I'm stepping outside of my comfort zone, and I'm being rewarded for it! And just like that, one month of Make an Effort Mondays is done! So long, January, and hello, February!
